SMV - Live At Vitoria-Gasteiz Jazz Festival

This bootleg is posted on Progresivo Del Mundo.  Enjoy the Google translation (if you really like to jazz).  Download link after the jump.

Stanley Clarke has done everything from jazz to Return to Forever, Henderson, Getz or Silver to rock with Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood, rock through jazz with Jeff Beck and various movie soundtracks, like the rapper 'Boyz' N 'the Hood'.  The ultiinstrumentista Miller, meanwhile, has produced almost all their idols of soul and rhythm and blues, from Aretha Franklin to Tempations from Chaka Khan to Roberta Flack.  And, of course, his contribution to the final stage of Miles Davis.  Mike Stern, Chick Corea, Branford Marsalis, Dave Matthews, Bruce Hornsby, Prince and Gov't Mule are some of the musicians with whom he played, Victor Wooten, bassist known by many as next to Bela Fleck, but with much more to say.

As was expected, SMV is the trio of musicians Stanley Clarke, Marcus Miller and Victor Wooten, and in that order SMV stands up, with the initial letter of the name of each member.  In 2008 they released their album Thunder and in July 2009 gave a tour of some countries in Europe to promote his album, including a concert they gave at the Festival de Jazz de Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain.  This concert is one that can hear and then the result of the mixture of talents of these musicians is really amazing, but not less Vinine expected and recognized three major exponents of the electric bass, whose penchant for Jazz and Funk music is something they have had in common throughout their musical careers.  The concert features some extended versions of tracks from their studio album, which is very well reflected the ability of each musician, with impressive technique often does not become exaggeration (as in Shake Your Body splaping or Wooten's solo), rhythmic bases very good and well marked, usually calm passages and certain dynamism that invites us to continue to enjoy good music.  I think it goes without saying much more, but if you really like to jazz and the bass is one of his favorite tools, do not miss this great concert.
